Our Kids ministry (Newborn to Grade 5) is designed to helps kids learn about the love of God in dynamic and fun ways. It takes a village to raise a child and we want to partner with you and support you as you raise your kids. We envision a children’s ministry that sees kids taking the next steps in their faith and that supports parents as spiritual leaders of their families.
We want your Kids to love coming to Church
On your first visit
What to Expect
We take great care in presenting Jesus in a way that is fun and relevant. During our weekend Church services we provide quality age specific programs that included crafts, music, Bible teaching and this all takes place in in spaces designed to be fun, safe and engaging for all kids.
The Kids check-in is open 30 minutes before the service and there are always great people to help you with the process and show you around. If you need more information when you arrive, please ask one of our friendly volunteers for directions to the nearest kids check-in.
How Check-In Works
You may check in your child at any available station. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will send a text message to your phone number that we have registered in our Check-in system. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
What We Value
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We want all children to know and love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We strive to disciple children by teaching them that they can discern God’s voice, obey Him and live a victorious life through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Fun and Engaging Activities
Kids love fun! We aspire to teach children about the Bible by bringing its stories and teachings to life. We seek to teach God’s redemptive story in a fun, creative and engaging environment. We strive to provide learning experiences that are exciting and age appropriate for every age and stage of development.
Luke 18:16 “But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
Love and Encouragement
We seek to create an environment that is full of love and encouragement for every child. Our leaders seek intentional opportunities to encourage, build-up, affirm and support children both in their relationship with the Lord and in their identity in Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
Safety and Security
We facilitate CLAkids with our Plan to Protect policy to ensure the safety and security of every child that attends or participates in CLAkids programs or events. Our teachers and volunteers have been selected, screened, and trained so that your family receives the best care possible.
Romans 12:6 “Having then gifts, differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them.”
We aim to come alongside parents and caregivers to support, encourage and equip them as the primary spiritual leaders in their children’s lives. We seek to provide opportunities for families to experience Jesus together through a variety of programs, events, resources and serving opportunities.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”
